What Chiron in Taurus Is Actually Doing in My Own Chart

There’s something I want to be precise about.

My natal Chiron isn’t in Taurus. It’s in Gemini. So whatever I’ve been feeling this season, it isn’t a Chiron return. I want to say that, because it would be easy to borrow that language for myself. But I’d rather offer you the truer, more specific thing. That’s what this medicine actually asks of me, and what I want to model for you.

Here’s what’s actually happening: my Moon and my North Node are both in Taurus. Your Moon is the placement that shows how you nurture and what makes you feel safe; your North Node points toward the direction your soul is evolving. In my chart, both of them sit in the house that governs community, the people I’m building this work with and for. So this whole season, as Chiron has been moving through Taurus, it’s been moving through that exact part of me. Not my wound. The part of me that nurtures, and the direction I’m walking.

And the timing is specific, because Astrology is always specific. Transiting Chiron will make exact contact with my North Node three times over the coming months: this May, again this October as it turns retrograde, and a final direct pass next March. This isn’t a vague seasonal vibe. It’s a real, dated alignment, and it’s already begun.

Stanley and I are also, as some of you know, newly pregnant. I don’t experience that as coincidence.
